For Sale: 20mm US Infantry and Armor

The Campaign For Kharkov Pint Sized Campaigns are Complete

I have finished the work on the pint sized campaigns. There are two campaigns designed for the Chain of Command rules from TooFatLardies. But these can be applied to any skirmish level rule system. One covers the advance of the German 57th Infantry Division and the other the German 101st Light Division. The attack came in October of 1941. This city would be the site of three major battles for the city. The interesting aspect of the October 1941 battle is in the nature of the troops involved. The Soviets had superiority in armor. The Germans advanced with only a single STUG battalion in support of the 57th ID. The Soviets fielded the T34 as well as several improvised armored vehicles such as the KhTZ-16. While not a success on the battlefield, it demonstrated the Soviet inventiveness under the extreme pressure of the blitzkrieg.

There are twelve total scenarios in the campaign. Full force lists are availible for both German Divisions and the Soviet troops present. Maps are based on aerial reconnaissance photographs taken by German troops in September 1941.

Action at Ustilug - Now on Sale

The Action At Ustilug is a pint sized campaign for Chain of Command. It contains a half ladder campaign with a variable support system that adds an extra level of friction to your support choices. The campaign covers the opening day of Operation Barbarossa. The German 289th Infantry Division crossed the Ukrainian border at the bridges near Ustilug and encountered the Soviet 87th Rifle Division and elements of the 41st Tank Division. The scenarios cover rural as well as urban engagements. The Soviet defenders acquitted themselves well and delayed the German advance through the town at every opportunity.

The booklet weighs in at 22 pages with full maps for each scenario. This does not have the same production quality as the Pint Sized Campaigns published through TooFatLardies as it has no graphics other than game maps.

The Scenario Clean Out

I have so many projects that I loose track of some of them from time to time. I was sorting through my laptop and came across several completed scenarios that were parts of projects that I just either did not finish or I decided that I have no intention of finishing. So that they are not just a waste of space, I decided to do something with them.

The scenarios are from several rule systems and cover a number of periods.

First up is a scenario on the Egyptian assault on the Kibbutz Kfar Darom in 1948. This is an IABSM scenario for use with the Unholy Mess supplement published in one of the TooFatLardies supplements.

Second is a sample scenario from my East Front Supplement for Through the Mud and Blood that Rich promises to publish this Summer. The scenario is a historical battle from 1915 where Russian Jadgkommandos attack a divisional headquarters in the German rear and capture some German generals. It is an interesting adventure in which some accounts have the Russians escaping in captured beer trucks.

Next is a fictional scenario called Action at Sonolenta Aldeia. This is a scenario set in Portugal during the Napoleonic Wars. There are detailed mission briefings and enough details to make a campaign out of the forces provided. Includes not only British Light infantry (sorry, no rifles) but also a Royal Navy landing party that are fighting some French troops. The scenario is designed for Sharp Practice.

Lastly, there is my Greenhill, Tennessee scenario for Terrible Sharp Sword. This is a historical scenario dealing with a Union attack on some Confederate Militia that were protecting some liquor stores.

I have bundled these together and am throwing them out there by themselves for $2. The button will take you to a zip file with the scenarios on my Google Drive account.

While I was at it, I decided to set up a complete bundle of everything that I am selling on the website. This includes both Bag the Hun/CY6 campaign books (Falcon and the Gladiator and Western Desert Campaign), The Coming Thunder and In the Name of Roma in addition to the scenarios above. This bundle is available for $30. Again it will redirect you to my google drive account and a zip file containing everything.

6mm AWI Sale!

Update 3-15-2012 - These have been sold. ========================================= Well I have been sorting through the lead pile and decided to sell some of my miniatures. I have been trying to get the motivation to finish these for years now and it just is not happening. About 10 or so years ago, I was looking for a set of AWI rules. I decided that 6mm miniatures was what I wanted. I discovered the Red Coats and Rebels rules on the web and thought they would fit the bill. Adler had just started to release their AWI lines and I jumped right in. I quickly painted a couple of stands and then, they went on a shelf. A few years later, the TooFatLardies published a special with Taxes, Tea and Tories (2006 Christmas Special). Back out the miniatures came. Another unit got painted and some Baccus AWI figures were added to the pile. Then they went back in the drawer.

I have reevaluated and decided that mass battles are not really what I was looking for. Sharp Practice skirmishes are really what I have been looking to do. As such, I am selling off these figures, hopefully to a happy new home.
