Now my question for you, dear reader, is what do with my gift cards. The family settled on stocking up on Amazon gift cards for me. I definitely want the Christopher Shores book "A History of the Mediteranean Air War 1940-45 vol 1". But do you have any suggestions for me? I am interested in anything I can get through amazon that would go with my existing 15mm scale preference. What should I look at getting? Give me some ideas.

ReplyDeleteI am not au fait with military history to advise you on your gift card quandary. I am currently interested in the Italian campaign and at some point hope to read the other two books of Atkinson's trilogy on the US Army at war. I've only read the first volume, which covers N Africa. I bought my brother the Mad Colonel a copy of Tom Rick's book The Generals on US army leadership in WW2, and I am hoping to sneak a read of it before they arrive for a visit on the 29th. If it's any good I'll report on it. Those are my threadbare ideas. Please review Shore's book for us.
