British Legion Project Update

Less on the British Legion but more on rebasing in general. I have managed to get some more militia bases and trays printed. Not from my printer but on a friends filament printer. He was able to print 10 trays and some 80 bases. This should be more than enough to finish rebasing my existing militia troops. They are printed in white but that is not a problem. I plan on priming them before using them.

I will be printing some British Legion casualties tonight. I also thought about printing some tricorn hats that came with the Henry Turner casualty pack. These would be great for markers on the field. He also has some weapons as well. We will see. The prints came out well. I am wondering if I lost some detail since there was a span of a few days between the print and cleaning the miniatures. I am waiting for them to dry before throwing them in the curing station.

I have the remainder of my British Legion already on painting sticks. I have to prime some of them still. If possible, I will try to take care of that tonight as well.

The scenarios that I am working on for this project are coming along. I am enjoying the book, A Gallant Defense by Carl Borick. It basically walks the reader through the build up of troops by the British through the siege of Charleston and ends after the battle of Waxhaws. Which is what I am looking to track as This Land Divided picks up after the battle of Waxhaws. The aim is to cover the actions of just the British Legion from Cecember 1779 to June 1780.
