I finally got one of my shapeways Nieuport 10 fighters painted up. The Nieuport 10 was designed as a 2-seated observation plane that was pressed into service as a fighter by covering over the rear seat.
I am unhappy with it as the khaki looks too dark to my eyes. I am just not sure what to do.
Perhaps a bit dark. A soft dybrushing with a lighter khaki?

DeleteWhile I understand it looks to dark to you, I think it is spot on. Than again most of the periods aircraft were anything but standardized.
