January 20th and 0 Progress
I don't know how this happened but I have not even picked up a miniature to paint since the year started. How is the time speeding by so fast. I have not worked at all on my West Virginia campaign either. Anyone else had a slow start?
Sort of a slow start. I've been painting a little bit each day, but no mass output. More worried about getting the MA thesis draft done by the end of February.
I fear that the stuff I'm completing will never see a game table the way we mange to not get together around here. Ironically the fewer games I play the more I work on the lead mountain. I have a 20mm platoon of 8th Army that I'm going to paint up as Aussie Militia for Kokoda and Milne Bay. Oodles of 18th C minis that will used for War of Jenkins Ear. Lots of 19th C militia types for 2 Sem War and War of 1812. We should do another game day that is dedicated to the folks who are no longer rolling dice with us.'
Yep! Only put my nose to the wargaming grindstone today.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got moving. I am still trying to figure out what to start.

ReplyDeleteThe Thesis is important. I took too long to do mine.

ReplyDeleteI think we should try for two "Memorial Games Days" per year. Do one in the Spring and another in the Fall.
DeleteGood idea Chris. Post the idea on SecSat group and see if anyone besides me bites. it does seem the least we could do
