I now have 12 of these ready to go. While working on them, I also managed to finish a Lysander. The example that I had, didn't show roundels on the top of the aircraft, only the sides. I started on the second Lysander but didn't finish it. Instead of finishing the last 3 Cr.32s, I started on the four Blenheim Is. I have the base paint on them and still need the camo, markings and windows to paint.
At this point, for the desert, I have the following to finish:
| Number | |
|---|---|
| Blenheim I | 4 |
| Blenheim IV | 3 |
| Cr.32 | 3 |
| Lysander | 1 |
| Ro.37bis | 2 |
Once the Blenheims are painted, they should be in my next game.

One big advantage of 1/600 is you can get them done so much quicker than 1/300 I'm working on some Ca133s, Sm81s, Cr32 and 42s for East Africa and they are a pain The B4Y1 IJNAF biplanes for Sino Jap. games are so easy with their overall aluminum scheme compared to the nifty camo on the Regia Aeronautica stuff Looking forward to more games
ReplyDeleteI hear you. I had a collection of 1/300 but sold them off a while back. I'm not a good enough painter for larger scales. My italian camo schemes look more like chicken pox.
